This September, travel with us to Bukhara, Uzbekistan — a UNESCO Creative City of Craft & Folk Art — for the launch of the first-ever Bukhara Biennial, an ambitious new platform for contemporary art, craft, and cultural exchange.
🎨 “Recipes for Broken Hearts”, the Biennial’s central theme, offers an immersive, interdisciplinary feast celebrating the healing power of creativity, food, and togetherness. The project is curated by Diana Campbell (Artistic Director) with Wael Al Awar (Creative Director of Architecture), and all commissioned works — including by international artists — will be produced locally in Uzbekistan.
